A member of the North and East Syrian Autonomous Administration in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region stated that there are many differences among Kurdish movements in northern Syria but they can be resolved,

"This was a meeting between Kurdish parties to hear differing views on the situation in Syrian Kurdistan," Fathullah Husseini, a member of the North and East Syrian Autonomous Administration in the Iraqi Kurdistan, told KurdPress, referring to a recent meeting of Syrian Kurdish parties over political differences.

He continued: "Disputes are many but can be resolved. Currently, the second phase of talks has not started and we hope that the parties will start negotiations as soon as possible.

"The third round of talks between the parties has started but the main issues have not been raised yet," he earlier told KurdPress about the beginning of the third round of talks between the Kurdish Patriotic Council (ENKS) and the Kurdish Patriotic Union Parties (PYNK).

Fathullah Husseini continued as saying that: "The third round of talks is about how the political parties would participate in the self-government system in Syrian Kurdistan."

He added: "We are optimistic that this round will end in agreement between the sides."

The Syrian Kurdish official stated: "Issues such as political participation, security issues and the military forces of Syrian Kurdistan are topics that will be discussed in the third round of talks."

"The Syrian Kurds are in a special historical situation and must unite to prepare for important future events," said Mr. Husseini.
