IS militants attack Iraqi police in Kirkuk

Islamic State (IS) militants attacked Iraqi federal police at a checkpoint in Kirkuk province on Tuesday night (December 10), NRT reported.
According to the report the militants attacked a checkpoint near the village of Hatin in Dubiz district in northern Kirkuk at 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
Two members of the federal police were wounded in the clash.
IS militants continue to be active in and around Kirkuk and have launched a number of attacks in the last few months.
