According to Nas Kurd news website, the PUK Leader Bafel Talabani met with President Barham Salih and Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi in Baghdad.

According to the report, the meeting between Talabani, Salih and Al-Kadhimi was held on Thursday, July 7, at the palace of the late Iraqi President Jalal Talabani in Baghdad, and the latest political, economic and security developments in Iraq were discussed and the three sides praised the ongoing efforts for creating consensus among political parties and movements through dialogue and understanding.

In addition, in this meeting, they also discussed the government's role in improving the living conditions of citizens and providing more services to them, and continuing efforts to carry out reforms and fight against economic corruption.

Bafel Talabani emphasized in this meeting on the continuation of Jalal Talabani's wise policy, adding that: "the Presidency and the Council of Ministers can play an important and influential role in achieving peace and stability in Iraq. We hope that dialogue and understanding will be the principle of constant change in activities and all efforts in order to build a better future for citizens."
