5 ISIS militants killed in Mosul air strike

Five Islamic State (ISIS) group militants were killed in an attack by the Iraqi Air Force on Wednesday, February 2, south of Mosul in Nineveh governorate, Security Media Cell (SMC) said.
SMC announced in a statement the operation was carried out under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command and with Iraqi F-16 jets.
The statement also noted the operation targeted an ISIS hideout in a cave in the Hatra desert.
SMC said on Saturday the Iraqi Air Force bombarded an ISIS hideout killing nine militants in Hawi al-Azhim in Diyala who were believed to be responsible for the massacre of eleven Iraqi troops in the sub-district in January.
