According to Kurdpress, an American military convoy, whose mission in Syrian Kurdistan has ended, entered Erbil in the Kurdistan region of Iraq from Duhok. The local authorities announced this action not as a withdrawal but as a routine movement of troops.

According to Rudaw Network, an American military convoy that was stationed in Syrian Kurdistan entered the Kurdistan region today.

This large military convoy, which transports the American forces that have ended their mission in Syrian Kurdistan, passed through Duhok and reached Erbil province.

In this convoy, there are many trucks carrying armored vehicles and military equipment.

A high-ranking official of the Erbil governorate told Rudaw about this issue that this action is not a retreat, but a normal relocation.

He added: "The units whose mission has ended in Syrian Kurdistan will return through the Kurdistan region as part of the process of replacing forces.

It should be mentioned that in 2014 and 2015, with the start of the war against ISIS and the increase in the threat against Kobani, the United States had sent troops and military equipment to the region.

Now about 900 American soldiers are stationed in different regions of Syrian Kurdistan.

These units and military equipment are moved from time to time based on security needs and operational plans.

It is said that the convoy that arrived in Erbil today is also a part of this displacement process.
