In an interview with Baghdad Al-Youm news agency, the KDP member Wafa Mohammad Karim, said: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani is going to visit the Kurdistan region at the end of this week or the beginning of next week."
Wafa Mohammad Karim added: 90% of the focus of the Sudani's talks with the authorities of the Kurdistan Region will be on the latest measures taken to approve the draft of the Iraqi oil and gas law.
He pointed out that the agreement made between Baghdad and Erbil during the visit of Masrour Barzani, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region to Baghdad, was a temporary agreement and therefore there was a lot of understanding between the parties for the approval of the oil and gas law.
The Iraqi oil and gas law draft should be submitted to the House of Representatives to vote for next month.
