Iran, Iraq sign deal to fight dust storms

The Iraqi government announced earlier that it had begun serious conversations with Iran regarding climate change and its effects on water resources and desertification.
While dust storms are common in Iraq, they are becoming more frequent and severe. Experts have blamed climate change, desertification and drought.
