According to the Middle East News website, the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces condemned the attack on the Peshmerga forces of the Kurdistan Region in the Pardi area (Alton Kopri) in Kirkuk province.

"Any attack on Iraqi forces, wherever they are, is an attack on the Popular Mobilization Forces," the statement said.

The organization called on the relevant parties to launch an immediate investigation into the details of the incident and identify the perpetrator of the attack.

In this regard, the Iraqi Security Information Unit announced that it has launched an investigation into the rocket attack on Peshmerga positions.

The anti-terror unit in the Iraqi Kurdistan region announced yesterday that eight rockets hit the positions of the Peshmerga forces in the Pirdei area in Kirkuk province.

The attack did not cause any casualties or damage to the positions of the Kurdish forces.
