According to reports, the Iraqi Ministry of electricity told: "After the start of the US –Israel war against Iran, no amount of electricity per day from private sector companies in the Kurdistan region purchased and put it into the network.
He also said that the Iraqi Ministry of electricity has formal contracts with the private sector in Kurdistan region to buy energy, and in some cases the amount of electricity purchased 1800 MW, but in the current situation, this process has been completely stopped and the electricity supply has been cut off.
