Nechirvan Barzani and Mazlum Abdi met in Munich

According to a statement issued by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG):
"Nechirvan Barzani stressed the importance of continuing dialogue and understanding for a political solution to the problems in Syria, so that the rights of the Kurds and all communities within a unified Syria and in the future constitution of the country are protected."
For his part, Abdi thanked President Barzani and the Kurdistan Regional Government for their continuous efforts and effective role in calming the situation and reaching a ceasefire agreement between Damascus and Hezbollah.
The threat of the resurgence of ISIS and the threat of terrorism was another topic of the meeting.
